Non-Profit Table

Halifax Brewery Market welcomes local not-for-profit and community groups to join us on Saturdays.

  • Seek donations

  • Provide information

  • Seek volunteers/members

  • Demonstrate activities

  • Raise funds

Requirements

Priority will be given to groups working in Nova Scotia on issues surrounding food policy, agriculture, community accessibility, sustainability, land preservation, fitness & health, the arts, and the environment.

Availability

Community Groups may book a community table once per month, and are required to be set up 15 minutes prior to the start of the market, and must remain at their booths until the end of the market. 

Fee Structure

There are no fees for the use of the Community Table to disseminate information or solicit new members. 

Not-for-profits selling products: half-price table fees.

Business Incubator

​The Incubator Table is a 5-week program where BIPOC small businesses can try out our market.

We recognize that growing clientele and making relationships in the market community takes time and energy - this is one small way we hope to ease the risk and bridge into growing your small business here at the market and beyond! 

Requirements
This program is designed to help BIPOC businesses become permanent vendors at our market. Eligibility for the program is based on the regulations outlined in our vendor handbook.
If you have questions about eligibility prior to completing your application, please contact us  - we are happy to answer any questions you may have!

Availability

This is a year-round program, with each business joining the market for 5 consecutive weeks. After 5 weeks, program participants will have the option to become a full-time vendor.

Fee Structure

Sponsored table fees for 5 weeks.

Youth Entrepreneur

We welcome the spirit of entrepreneurship in our community's youth and youth groups!

  • Participants should be aged 12 – 17 years and members of a community group, camp, school or program 

  • Participants should provide items only of their own work for sale 

  • Participants should be able to participate in the entire market day; setup by 7:45am and remain at their booth until 1pm. 

  • Applications for the us of the Youth Entrepreneur Table are accepted on an ongoing basis 

  • There are absolutely no fees for the Youth Entrepreneur Table

NSCAD Pop Ups

We welcome NSCAD students and student collectives to participate in the market community to gain experience and add to the market’s atmosphere. 

 

  • Participants should be current NSCAD students

  • Participants should provide items only of their own work for sale

  • Participants should be able to participate in the entire market day; setup by 7:45am and remain at their booth until 1pm.

  • Applications for the use of the NSCAD Emerging Artist Table are accepted on an ongoing basis 

  • There are absolutely no fees for the use of the NSCAD Emerging Artist Table
